Eventi's hands-on involvement enables it to manage the investment process effectively, as Eventi senior staff is introduced into the financial analysis and reporting functions of the target companies in the early stages of its involvement. The investee firms benefit immediately from access to higher calibre resources than they can typically afford as Eventi generally pools these resources across its other portfolio companies. Since Eventi's inception, the Team has successfully extended its service offering to investee companies to include numerous critical functions including legal and business development, providing further transparency into the operations. Eventi has found that the entrepreneur leaders of its investee companies welcome these services, given they create better insight into the business and provide the opportunity to focus on the core business drivers.
The Team has developed a deep expertise in the outsourcing and ASP industry and will bring that focus to bear on two core service sectors where we view the greatest opportunities:
Technology Infrastructure segment addresses the growing ASP and technology outsourcing market opportunity with a particular focus on IT/software infrastructure and services. Companies in this segment provide Managed Services, Outsourced services and software as a service.
Marketing and Sales Solutions addresses the growth in internet based sales and marketing service delivery models. Conceptually there are many similarities to the investment approach in the IT infrastructure segment but the value proposition usually appeals to the top-line decision makers (CEO and VP Marketing roles) versus senior technology employees (CTO). The long awaited shift in advertising and marketing dollars has finally started to occur with marketing budgets shifting to on-line delivery and away from traditional television, print and outdoor media.
