Bill is the founder and former President and C.E.O. of Grocery Gateway Inc., one of North America’s most successful online grocery and home delivery services. Bill conceived of Grocery Gateway Inc. in 1996 and over the next 4 years raised close to $70 million in venture capital financing. He led the company from 1 to 400 employees and annualized sales of close to $40 million at its peak. He assembled a world-class team and led them in building one of Toronto’s most recognized new service brands. Bill was Ernst & Young’s recipient of their 2000 Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and a finalist in the Toronto CMA’s Marketer of the Year in 2001.

Prior to building Grocery Gateway, Bill worked his way up in the package goods industry with Warner-Lambert Canada and Clorox International. Working in product management and new product development helped to develop Bill’s strategic sense and marketing skills. Bill has worked in Canada, the Middle East and Europe and has a productive network that touches every continent.

Bill is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business and currently sits on the board of four companies as well as serving on the advisory council of Dixon Hall.
