Richard Zsolt is an Vice President at Eventi Capital Partners. Richard joined Eventi in 2015 and is closely involved in both deal execution as well as supporting and advising operators in Eventi’s portfolio companies.

Since joining, Richard has worked on a number of transactions including the sale of Ceryx Inc. and two rounds of financing for Kinetic Commerce. In 2017 Richard led the execution of Eventi’s investment in BasePair Technologies Inc. In 2018 Richard led the diligence efforts and transaction execution for Tenzing Managed IT Services’ parallel acquisition and mergers of ThinkWrap Commerce and Spark::Red, including acting as second chair in acquisition negotiations. Since then Richard has worked around the portfolio in support of potential transactions and in a senior legal advisor capacity.

Richard currently sits on the Board of Kinetic Commerce and is an observer on the Board of BasePair BioTechnologies.

Prior to joining Eventi, Richard worked as a lawyer at a Toronto-based commercial litigation firm. He earned his law degree from the University of Western Ontario. Before law school, Richard earned his Bachelors of Pure Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. Outside of investing, Richard is passionate about mathematics and teaches math enrichment for high school students at the University of Toronto.
